Our Privacy and Security Working Group is exploring best practices in patient-generated health data. It works with key agencies to update relevant health policies and provides thought leadership on wellness devices, connected clothing, mobile health apps, cybersecurity, as well as guidance about whether relevant privacy and security regulations (like HIPAA) apply.
Reimbursement
Our Reimbursement Working Group is promoting telehealth and remote patient monitoring solutions to improve patient care and outcomes by attaining adequate reimbursement in subsidized medicine for physicians’ use of these technologies.
Effectiveness
Our Effectiveness Working Group is putting forth studies on the effectiveness of connected health technology, including risk assessment, for audiences including regulatory agencies, Congress, physicians, and research institutions.
